I'll Admit it...I'm GREEN

Ok I am writing this post today because I am green..with envy that is. It is not so easy to admit. I write this blog and I want it read by many people and, let's get real, it's not. While I am thankful for the people do read it I wish more people did....I see these awesome blogs (http://nighthowells.blogspot.com or http://audreycaroline.blogspot.com) and all their many readers and that makes me jealous. Hey...I am human and I have moments like that.

But then the angel that sits on my left shoulder (often times fighting the devil on the right side)reminds what the Bible says...

3 At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. 4 But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. 8 This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.

Titus 3:3-8

So I may only have five blog readers......I have God. He knows my heart and this is not an understatement. It also reminds that at one time all those bloggers only had 4 readers. I'll never be an expert blogger or have thousands of readers but I have "My God" and that is enough for me.

  1. Gina,

Sue and I have been blogging for 10 years at Sisters Weblog. I think we have 1 or 2 readers. So, you are doing great! Heck we were even interviewed on the news...and still we have 2 readers!

  2. Well I read your blog. Sometimes it just gets discouraging but I have to remember to follow God's plan...not mine.
