Photographs

Look at this photograph...everytime I do it makes me laugh...... Yep those are the words to a Nickelback song and this week I got to see them in concert with these three awesome ladies. Cassie, Michelle, and Mary Ellen....three women that have come into my life and I am happy to say are becoming good friends.

I have thought alot of the old Girl Scout song..."Make New Friends but keep the old, one is silver and the other's gold." I have been so blessed with so many special and wonderful friends in my life...I am thankful. But this group of ladies of taught me a little bit more about myself this week....

See I had judged them....GASP!!! I know those that know me will either be profoundly shocked or thinking..what's new:) I thought these women all thought they were better than me and I judged them as snobs. Then I got a real shock...they had judged me to. So while we were so busy judging each other we had missed out on quite a friendship. I'm just glad God had other plans for us and changed things.

“Judge NOT, that you be not judged” Matt 7:1. Is he telling us that we can never judge anyone?
No. Jesus did not intend to forbid judgements of all kinds. When Jesus said, “Judge not”, he forbade unkind, unjustified and improper censure resulting from hasty and superficial investigation, and without regard for the well being of the person, or persons, criticized.

This verse spoke volumes to me and the first one that lept to mind when I made these new friends. I judged them, they judged me. Without investigations or facts.

Look after each other so that not one of you will fail to find God’s best blessings. What out that no bitterness takes root among you, for as it springs up it causes deep trouble, hurting many in their spiritual lives. Hebrews 12:15TLB

I am so glad God can see beyond our faults and get us back on course. I am glad God has brought these three women into my life and look forward to many more photographs and fun. And each will be a reminder not to judge....because the person you are judging could be a very good friend.

Yep look at this photograph....everytime I do it makes me laugh
